Can You Please Wait?That afternoon, we met for lunch, and then he stayed to keep me company while I studied for my upcoming comprehensive exams. During one of my study breaks, he confessed his intention to pursue a serious relationship with me. Since then, my love for him has grown deeper each day, as if God has been gently revealing, one by one, that he truly is the one. The ProposalMore than a year had passed when he brought me to meet his family and introduced me to his home in Vietnam. On my last day there, at the Museum of Fine Arts, he got down on one knee with flowers and a ring and asked me to be his wife in front of his nephews and nieces. The Invisible String TheoryOne random day, while scrolling through his phone gallery, he came across a single photo taken in August 2023. It was from when he visited the Indonesia Festival with friends. He had only taken that one picture—no others—yet it captured me dancing on stage, my face shining brightly on the big screen. It felt as though an invisible string had quietly connected our lives long before we ever met. -
